The work on the development version of the game continues. Same as in previous weeks, I'm focused on the new version of UI. But the old one also got some updates. :)
- In the new UI, the week was mostly a research week. I was trying to find a solution for some issues related to in-game dialogs. And I think, I finally found it. ;) They now work in the same way how they worked in the old UI. The next week perhaps also will be a research one: I want to check if I can make some menus, especially these related to various in-game lists, more modern/conventional than in the old UI.
- As mentioned above, the task to make the old UI more user-friendly continues. I'm still playing with the crafting screen. The work on showing the list of workshops with information about them is done. Now, I started work on hiding the advanced options in the recipes' list. I think it should be finished in the next week. It will work in the same way as in the shipyard screen in bases.
- Speaking of which: the "More options" button in the shipyard screen in bases now is shown only when needed, when the list of modules to install is displayed.
- As always, the old code got some cleanups, refactoring etc. small changes which should made my life a bit easier. ;)
