Weekly development report: 2020/07/04
Reusing old code in the new UI has a few advantages. One of them is that I need to retest everything again to check if it works. And of course, soon or later some bugs will be found. That's happened this week: a few small bugs were caught. Thus in less than 24 hours a new stable version of the game should be available for download (this time not a ninja release :) )
Anyway, UI transformation continue:
- Finished work on the player's ship info UI
- Added the player's ship cargo management UI
- Added the player's ship crew management UI
- And as last for this week, crew inventory UI is also done for now
Also I got some free time and instead on putting it on the game development I decided to waste it by write a short article to RogueBasin about Ada language: http://www.roguebasin.com/index.php?title=Ada I write about this here mainly, because I'm looking for someone who can proofread it (with a lot of red paint :) ) Probably discussion about the article will be best doing there than under this post.
