It seems like, the stable version is back to its favorite, quiet state. Nothing new to report here, at least nothing new. ;) Still no luck with finding a source of the random game crashes.
The development version goes forward as usual. This time, even some visible changes are ready to report. Most of them are players' suggestions, on which I finally started working:
- I made some checked buttons, like in bases' schools, darker to made them look like the other elements of UI.
- The items' selected type during trading don't reset after buying or selling items.
- The dialog for buying, selling or dropping items was redesigned. Now it has more buttons for items' amount. Here is the new version.
- I've stared work on some redesign of movement control buttons. The work is in very early stage, so, nothing to show yet here.
- As usual, some part of the game was rewritten in Nim programming language. Now almost all UI related to the knowledge screen is in its new home. And the work reached another milestone: the old code is now below 30% of overall code. :)
- Speaking of the old one, the task above triggered some cleanup tasks here too.
