Weekly development report 2025/07/19


The first quiet week in some time in a stable version of the game. Nothing new to report here. As usual, I'm probably running out of something. ;) At least a new stable version of the game can be released with patches already prepared. It will be available approximately 24 hours after this post. And then the fun will probably start over. :)

The development version of the game is moving at its normal pace. This week, work mainly continued on the tasks started the previous week. At least when it comes to changes visible to players.

  • As usual, the main work is underway on a new UI for the game. The task of creating a UI for purchasing crafting recipes in bases has already been completed. I have now started working on shipyard UI in bases. I'll probably be stuck over this screen for a long time again; there are quite a few things to do here.
  • In the background, work is underway on the library used in the new UI. This week it was mainly organizational and order work. Chances are no new bugs have been added. :)
  • Like last week, I'm still working on adding a limit on things in the bases. Here the work is almost complete: it seems that everything is working quite correctly. The game's help has also been updated with information about limits. There are only a few small things left to do that should be completed next week. And then I will continue to spoil the game mechanics. :)
  • Standard footer: as usual, the old code got some improvements and fixes. Typical time filler.
